You know, I have never actually met anybody that likes Gwen. I can’t speak for everybody else, but when I first got in to Spider-Man comics, he was already married to Mary Jane.
My first exposure to Spider-Man was Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and that didn’t have any romantic subplots. Unless I am missing something between Spidey and Firestar.
