Also? I would very much like it if all of Bruce's friends stay his friends and do not become villains. Having those folks as a support system for Batman instead of his rogue's gallery seems like an idea with abundant storytelling potential.

Agreed. Also that they don't kill off Martha (at least not too soon).

I would like to see Alfred tell his handlers to go swivel and start actively helping Bruce, but most of the other variations from the main universe, I'd like to see stick. (Referring to the ones that aren't entirely baked in, so could be changed.)

[Edit - also, given the history the Gordons and Waynes are shown to share, I'm kind of rooting for Jim and Martha to get together, since Thomas is dead and Babs' mom (still named Barbara in this universe?) doesn't seem to be in the picture, either.]

I'm actually fine with them becoming villains...

...but with a caveat.

I want them to come around, for it to be like a part of each one's respective arc. Not to fill out a rogues gallery, but more as an evolution of who they are, and Batman, this Batman, actually manages to save them from themselves.

It would be such a nice change from "they're villains because they're supposed to be villains," that I feel like some in the main continuity are walking back from, but this would be without their years of baggage.

Seems like this universe has worked out a lot better for the penguin, his pointy nose is more refined and he doesn't need a weaponized umbrella when he's packing GUNS like those.
