I wish DC would do more with their roster of heroes and give the odd D lister a mini. They were able to construct a whole world around Son of Vulcan the one time they did anything with him.

I liked this series when it came out. I think he spent all of five minutes as a Teen Titan during the One Year Gap around 52/Infinite Crisis and that was it. Or maybe he was part of the Titans East that got obliterated in their one-shot. It's a shame. He was doing the "Hispanic legacy teen hero" before Jaime Reyes, but never got a fair shot.

Okay, seeing this doesn't give me a very high opinion of the preceding Vulcan. His failsafe seems fundamentally flawed, and just... I don't know.

Feels like he was expecting a more dramatic death, if ever it should occur, and really didn't have anything set up for his successor in the event of a sudden one.

Even without his untimely death, Vulcan's approach to his legacy was to just kidnap a random plucky orphan and dress him a costume like he's Captain Sunshine. That's a terrible approach for any legacy hero.

I hope Pandora's okay. Her fashion sense is utterly terrible, but she's clearly the best DC character with that name.
