I get the visual shorthand of the color flip, but it's very hilarious they swapped out the lights on his medical devices too.

They flipped the colour but they couldn’t think to make his mask any less intimidating or skeletal.

In fact, he now looks MORE skeletal.

It's funny because according to supplemetnary materials the suit was designed on Palpatine's orders to be uncomfortable, restrictive and claustrophobic to wear, presumably to keep him on a leash and also perhaps enhance his connection to the dark side.

So unless they made some improvements he's going to have to work extra hard to stay the good guy here.

The are here is mostly adequate until the last two pages where it hits "Oh dear god" levels. Luke looks especially stoned.

My favorite star wars infinite comic. Is when Yoda control the death star with the force and crash it into Coruscant.

Would Luke and Lei allies of the Rebel Alliance would take his or Luke's word for it that Vader/Anakin had become a good guy?

That would be an interesting angle to explore… realistically speaking I imagine most wouldn’t trust him. Even Leia in the current canon was at odds with his memory even after he died saving Luke.

In one of the early post OT EU novels his ghost visits her and she basically tells him to fuck off.

Even if he didn't give the order to fire the Death Star he's still pretty complicit in a lot of the empire's atrocities.

And you know the Rebellion's HR department is going to have some concerns about his management habits. Choking out a subordinate might fly at your old job but we do things a little differently around here, mister!

I always loved this one. I would love to see a follow-up to that ending, too.

Also love Lighth Vader there. Reminds me of when someone at EA on Star Wars Battlefront said something against having alternate costumes like the one linked above, like "You can't do that. It would be like having a white Darth Vader. It would never happen, it wouldn't be right!"

And I'm just remembering this ending and thinking "Um.. "
