And IMMEDIATELY everyone starts questioning Loki's sanity. If there's one thing everyone at that table can easily agree on, it's hating Red Skull.

A group that includes a Nazi, a man of Romani descent and a Holocaust survivor. What could possibly go wrong?

Kingpin and the Wizard aren't too fond of him either. I think if Loki actually cared to look into Red Skull's past, he'd hate him too.

I do have to wonder if Loki did it on purpose. "Hey, let's throw a Nazi and a concentration camp survivor together and see what happens, lol."

Why wouldn't he do it on purpose? I don't think he cared that Magneto replaced Red Skull with an android.

He wanted to troll his allies as much as his enemies

That would explain what Bentley is doing there. Assembling the world's greatest villains and including the Wingless Wizard is a pretty good joke.

Pretty sure he did want the heroes to die. Ironically, the one who came the closest may have been ol Paste Pot Pete against Spider-Man.

It could have been a clever tactic of Loki's, sticking Red Skull on the team so everyone else focuses on getting rid of Schmidt instead of him.

It's not what's going on, but it could have been.
