I feel like just classifying Phyla as Kree/Eternal hybrid skips a few steps. Like cloning and retroactive continuity implantation.

Did Vance's plot ever get resolved??

Not really. In the final issue the Guardians of the future ask about just where he came from, and decide it doesn't really matter.
Then he disappeared in the middle of the Thanos Imperative.
