Has Brain made a appearance in a spider-man book before? I first I thought that was Doom at the end. I wonder if Norman would had written Peter? A letter of recommendation to help Peter get new job at a company.

You'll be thrilled to learn that Norah "Queen Racist" Winters" has made a return in these pages, dating Randy again, likely because Joe Kelly was the one who created her.

EDIT: I was wrong. It's a different platinum blonde white girl who's an ass to Randy. Any sufficiently shittily written white girl is indistinguishable from Norah.

Have read the issue. Yes. I agree. The platinum blonde white character was very annoying and obnoxious.

Even more so for the fact that this is a lazy archetype that Kelly needs to keep leaning on, and keeps needing to pair up with Randy for some reason.

Same as the inclusion of Hammerhead front-and-centre in Spidey's hallucination of his rogues. Not because the guy has ever done anything notable, just because Kelly's his #1 fan. Larraz even had to give him a little hammer to hold, which I imagine is because he doubted anyone would recognise him!
