The President of the United States is an angry, incompetent blowhard who wants to invade and annex Canada!
Yes, and in this comic, too!
(14 pages from a 42-page book)
As the action unfolds, President Carrington has recently weathered an assassination attempt that put his best robot, Service-1, briefly out of commission.

Meanwhile, in-a-funk artist Sara is just getting home...

More on that later. There's robots in this White House!
Service-1's checkup turns out well. The technician, Danny, gives him an A+ for 'perfect'. Service-1 decides to kick the rest of their hour keeping company with Chef-9.

Danny goes home for lunch, only to his boyfriend (husband?) Pierre, glued to the TV...

More on that later. Them robots? They's in the White House!

It's time for Danny to do an impromptu check on Chef-9.

When Pres. Carrington requests a midnight PB&J, Chef-9 takes the opportunity to ask Service-1 if there's another way. Service-1 is resigned; this is the job.
Meanwhile, Sara is being asked to consider doing a collab with a richboy artist who bought a robot to produce the art for him. Naturally, she's disgusted.

More on THAT later. Where are the robots? Why, the White House, of course!
As is the President.

Accompanied by the two gentlemen from the first page (Agent Mansworth and Mister Motamedi), Service-1 shows up for his "Last Meal": a simple tomato soup.

(Peter Falk: "Now, what Chef-9 was really saying wuz...")

Thanks to Motamedi's phone, Agent Marinex gets the drop on our escapee heroes, but Service-1's programming helpfully doesn't prevent it from defending itself from other robots. After bluffing that they pre-emptively poisoned the President, Service-1 and Chef-9 escape. The robots have left the White House.
MEANWHILE, Danny and Pierre are escaping, having prepared for this day...

...perhaps too well. Pierre's real name is not Pierre, and Danny did not know this was what he was up to.
In the White House, the Prez. is less than pleased to hear that it's Service-1 particularly who's running amok...

More on that later. There's robots outside of the White House - and they're romancin'!

Sara the artist is considering taking a sabbatical to try and reconnect with her roots as an artist. But her dog is going nuts...
