She sure has grown a lot since we first met her, huh? And yet she's still her - "acting as their instincts and nature tell them" isn't a particularly charitable perspective on the male of the species, nor an especially Themysciran one. And she's still got that quirky Bana sense of fashion. Belts decorated with hands, really now Artemis, that would just look silly.

(Also, I really want to complain about her eyes being green again, but I'm much too busy still squeeing over her finally-properly-absurd-again hair.)

Many thanks for posting this particular installment of WWwA. Just so you know, some of the pictures in that post seem to be malfunctioning ("TinyPic: This image or video has been moved or deleted"). Not sure if that's the case for everyone, or just me.

I really want someone to point out that she's simply being treated in essentially the exact same way her culture treated men and hasn't got a figurative leg to stand on.

But she does. While it doesn't fully justify it, following the viewpoints and practices, no matter what they may be, of the society into which you are born and raised isn't the same as, assumably, already knowing it's wrong yet going into it and acting of your own will and/or based around a false sense of well-doing. Or, simply, not everyone is going to agree with a mentality of 'this person comes from a society of slavers/rapists so they can't look down on and/or defend themselves against those doing something similar.'

Not to mention that Artemis rejected those practices, and the rest of her people eventually followed. Temi has learned her lesson, she has every right to look down on thugs like these. Especially because they're doing it TO HER and every person has the right to their own life.
