Consider this character a multiversal variant of that skeletal remnant of the Suicide Squad Writer. (I read one or two complaints that this farrago was just so typical of ‘Grant Morrison’ - too meta - he always has to put himself in every story! You could make an argument that King Mob from The Invisibles is also Grant Morrison. And so what? If Morrison wants to do a victory lap with some of their creations, I'd say they've earned it.

I mean, it's not Kismet's first rodeo. How's Eternity going to measure up to the lasting effect the Marvel Family has had on her universe from her path crossing with his Fawcett Comics equivalent?

Usually Morisson's meta approach to superhero comics annoys me to no end, but somehow this one hit just right.
