This is " the Joker is a perfect orchestrator of atrocities ", but since Absolute Joker is one of the secret masters of the world and also some kind of transforming monster, it works better than when he's a clown criminal.

Yeah just canonically making Joker an eldritch horror at least gives the sheer ridiculousness of him context.

This reveal is the first time I have been interested in any version of "devil" Joker.

I can't believe having a definate origin has actually made a take on the character more interesting. I would have lost a lot of money betting that wasn't possible.

I like this story, it was a good and very interesting. Just damn, what a tragic life of Amadeus Arkham. Paired with the interesting, brutal, and still shrouded in some mystery, origin of The Joker.

It's a nice subversion of the classical Amadeus Arkham - both in that the original saw his family (especially his child) killed by a serial killer in his care, and that in the "Serious House On Serious Earth" version specifically her head was crammed into a doll's house.

Whereas in this version, it's that Amadeus' kid killed the serial killer, and then crammed him into a crawlspace.
