Lady who we thought was Harry's girlfriend, goblin-juiced capable of turning into this creature called "Menace", who we also thought was carrying Harry's baby, but... it's actually Norman's.
Already been heavily implied it's a superhuman baby.
I like that Doom doesn't have to wait for Norman to get his comeuppance, he just smacks him, and tells him he's going to watch him fail everywhere else too.
Well come on, when all this started and Norman assembled his little legion of doom, we all knew it was never going to go anywhere, because (with the exception of the Hood), anyone at that table could basically fold Norman like he was a card table.
Oh right, I guess I blocked it out because I don't like giving that little shit stain any props.
In any case, it does enforce my point: Norman (who can't even get a pair of little kids to respect him*), has no chance of running that sort of alliance anywhere but in the fucking ground.
*Granted, they are the Richards kids, but still, it is embarrassed seeing Osborne bring an army of soldiers and venom in and getting made a fool of by a pair of kids like he's a scooby doo villain.
Is it just the hologram or did the Marvel US president inexplicably turn white again..? I'm not sure who else Osborn would be talking to there.
Either way, I love how Loki's obviously having a blast just kicking back and watching Norman's little empire crumble in on itself, occasionally nudging it a little into the right direction.
You'd think Loki offering Osborn to stage an "incident" would raise alarms that this would inevitably come back to bite Osborn hard, but if anything...
I have to question Loki's logic; OK, so if there's a war over Asgard, what makes him think that's he's still going to be standing when the other Asgardians find out his role in all this? Thor killing Bor would pale in comparison to Loki's crimes. And if the whole lot of Asgard's wiped out (or nearly), there's not much for him to move back and rule over. He'll practically be the ruler of a decimated kingdom.
I'm thinking that Loki is playing a much larger angle here. Clearly he never needed Osborn's help to regain Asgard, his own workings in the Asgardian court and the alliance with Doom can attest to that (incidentally, the latter part also proves that he doesn't really care if a few dozen fellow gods die in the process). Loki probably thinks that Asgard could take on the United States in the event of a full on war between the two, especially with Doom at his side and all the heroes occupied with either themselves or Osborn's inept shenanigans. Whatever he's actually planning, the "incident" is likely just one more step along the line and not his final gambit for the throne.
I do agree the hologram does make the President look white but moreso it doesn't look like Obama's haircut from the back at all. It's not like it's a big question that Obama's president in the MU, he is according to Thunderbolts and Skrull Kill Krew.
I'd prefer it wasn't Obama in charge of the Marvel US right now. I don't want to paint any real politician with the sheer level of stupid anyone who would let Norman get away with his shit right now would earn.
Motto. It should be the generic old white dude with brown hair, because he is too bland and unassuming to be confused with anyone in actual government.
I was wondering that too, because that's clearly not Obama, who has been established as the MU American president. Maybe Norman can';t deal with a black president so he customized it.
In other news, this is how Michael Lark draws now? Quite a change.
Given he wished to work with Doom, I would assume he'd have done a little tiny bit of research. Especially given Doom attacks New York so often, with Doombots, some very big.
Then again, this is Norman, and assuming he's covered obvious bases is probably mistaken.
He also shot Fury and acted surprised when it was an LMD. And that time Phobos popped out and fucked him up. Seriously, Osborn does not seem to know the score.
Since everyone is expecting Normon to eventually become overwhelmed and lose, I'm kinda of hoping that Norman does keep it all together and defeats everybody. Then he can lose to the heroes.
