I don't think he suggests it's "setting it right", it's showing a balance, a nasty, warped, twisted balance, but no one said a balance would be nice.

Even Fox News is more "fair and balanced" than that.

Yes, a balance; as Trek DOES have a crew of colour, this one does not.

As Trek does have no member of the crew with anti-social vices (beyond being annoying prats), this one does.

A balance doesn't need to be the same, an opposite will do.

There were two crew members of color in the comic. They just happen to not be in those particular pages in the scans.
