I think it's the way he's intently studying it like he's never seen such a thing before. lol. Reminds me of a clip they had on America's Funniest Home Videos where some mom was taping her little boys and they started going on about how they had found some "dynamite"....which of course was a tampon.

Isn't this the same creative team from the most recent run on Runaways? I like the art much better here. The rougher lines remind me of Skottie Young's work, which is always good.

This issue is getting a ton of unnecessary flack on the CBR boards. I mean yes it is a little confusing, but I believe that was intentional.

People are comparing this in quality to the Draco, I can understand a comparison in vaguely similar plots, but come on.

Anyone who could seriously compare this issue to The Draco doesn't comprehend just how hard Chuck Austen worked to pack that much fail into a single story arc. I'm almost insulted on his behalf.*

Having read this by now (and Anoleness, awesome!) and comparing it with other books...Kurt and Betsy are popping up together quite often lately, aren't they?

They came together to help Wolverine out in his own book, they are in Legacy, and a caption box said Kurt knows Betsy#s greatest fears, and now in here...

Meh, I can't say it does much for me. It's not Draco bad, but it's a bit too giggling-schoolboy-"aren't we being clever and funny showing guys playing with a tampon"-juvenile in it's humour, and it appears to be presenting that humour at face value,

I mean, the first thing Santos picks up is a tampon? Too contrived and not funny enough to be worth the effort IMHO.

See, I have a problem with the physics of that action. Consider the tampon was lying on a flat surface, how could Rockslide's giant and non-squishy fingers have picked it up?

Actually, I seem to recall a discussion from New X-Men were Santo explains why he DOESN'T call Victor by his last name most of the time (something along the lines of Borkowski being 'uncool').
