Owen is apparently dumb enough to think throwing people (including children) in a hole to be killed by his dad as a zombie (that can also fly) would somehow revive him.
But he was always obsessed with his father, so it makes some semblance of sense. The "women and children" thing, though, was completely out of left field and the story would've been much better without it. At the beginning of the story, he threw in a rapist-turned-supervillain into the pit. That's all they really should have indicated about the victims--that they were assholes to begin with.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
