I like how, in the preview before this one, they have a tiny little propeller hanging off the aircraft carrier (so you know it's an aircraft carrier and not just a random piece of metal).

While the art is good, this story has been so incredibly boring to me.

Other people have commented on it all over the place so it sticks out like a sore thumb but in a sense Zod is right (never mind that he's not acting like any kind of sane military leader here). The US military has committed an act of genocide and they are STILL picking off the few remaining ones like flies and Superman shows NO ANGER to this at all. If Clark had really wanted to stop the bloodshed it should have been HIM who went after Lane and his program first and let the other heroes of the world deal with Zod's troops (who as mentioned are getting killed off at a ridiculous pace - I'm sure in the end Zod, Ursa and Non will the the only ones left). Superman comes off terribly (particularly in regard to the callousness towards the people he just spent a year with -our time - who have all been wiped out by Earth) in this story - which is supposed to about HIM after years of build up.

Y'know, insofar as I'm concerned this is Super-dickery on a most epic level. Superman accepts his species being reduced to being extinct *again* and shows absolutely no concern about it? Talk about being a traitor to your species.

Zod comes across as more of the (anti-) hero in this scenario. >.<
