FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
This, as you may well be aware of, is an annual event arranged by various puiblishers to promote business at Local Comic Shops by making certain comics available, free to the customer, on that day. and that day alone.
Marvel,DC, Boom, Archie, Dark Horse, IDW, Oni Press, Titan Comics, Viz Media, Abstract Studios, Action Lab, Arcana Studios, Aspen... the list goes on, are all contributing special free comics, and whilst not all shops will get all comics, most will get some, and many are also hosting other events to make the day more of an event for customers., like signings, artists sketchings and so on.
A list of all available FCBD issues can be found here
Scans_Daily exists to promote comics as a medium so, as you might imagine, we would encourage you to support your local, good quality, comic store as best you can. Visit, browse and if possible purchase! The comics are free to te customers, but the shop owners have to pay for them, so they're laying out cash for this. That's not to lay a guilt trip on anyone mind you, just an observation.
Edited for updated rules: As for posting scans from them here, our rules about this are that, whilst you may share a special FCBD comic in it's entirety, you are not allowed to post anything from them until FCBD is actually over, so that would be Sunday 6th at the earliest. We're here to encourage people to buy and read comics and seek out the promo materials for themselves!
Alas I personally won't be able to take part directly (thanks to the Bank Holiday weekend leading the rail companies to believe they can do al their maintenance work in one go and basically shutting down all the routes I'd use to visit any of my usual LCS locations) but I wish you happy hunting and a fun day!

He exists in two ways in my head. He's unlike any other character in fiction—I come from novels, and the entire idea of writing is about balancing motivations. The Joker is not like that. He doesn't have motivation. You could write a twelve issue series where he's like, "I'm gonna get the Holy Grail" and the whole time he's like John Wayne in The Searchers and is just obsessed with the Holy Grail and then he gets there and finds the Holy Grail and just walks away. It makes no difference to him, whether he succeeds or doesn't succeed. The second thing is, in my version of the Joker, the way I like to view it, I kind of think it's all an act?
