There were rumours on BleedingCool earlier in the day.

Now, CBR has confirmed that Tom King's run on Batman will come to end at the end of 2019.

The last issue is likely to be around #85, signficantly before the Eisner Award winning writer's originally outlined last issue of #105.

It's a little unclear to what extent this is King's choice, especially as he had recently announced that his last Batman arc would "change [Batman] for a generation, or maybe more. Maybe forever." but he will continue to work with DC though, including the end of "Heroes in Crisis", and other projects still to be announced, and has tweeted his thanks to fans for their support when the rumour broke.

I know it rarely needs to be said on Scans_Daily, and we're grateful for that, but in any comments please remember to critique the work, not the creator.
