Well, Boris Johnson is out and Liz Truss is in as British Prime Minister (Making her our fourth in six years... Yay stability?). Of course, BJ had to have one last go at a self-aggrandizing ego-boost in his final speech as PM, and didn't exactly encourage confidence in those hoping we might have seen the last of him by comparing hismelf to A) The booster rocket that falls back to earth (ie reusable) and B)

In the US, President Biden caused much gasping and clutching of pearls when he finally announced he was tired of trying the bipartisan approach and called out MAGA Republicans as being anti-democracy.
I am slightly shocked that we have reached the 30th Anniversary of Batman: The Animated Series! This seminal series launched on 5th September 1992! (Though I will note, for the umpteenth time, that Britain got it first, as "The Cat And the Claw" was broadcast on the Saturday morning of 5th September, as opposed to the US which showed "On Leather Wings" later in the day (not even including the time difference!)
Amazon released the first two episodes of "The Rings of Power".
