Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.

The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.

Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.

It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.

The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me.

This has to be a short one because of work commitments, and honestly, scrolling through current news articles... well, it's rarely a good look for a Mod to cry publicly, so if you have good news, please share!

Just when you thought the James Webb Space Telescope was awe inspiring enough, it's now COLLABORATING with the Hubble Space Telescope, combining their different recording methods to create even MORE magnificent, and scientifically useful, images.

Most of the trailers of note were linked in the NYSS posts, but I will make special repeat notes for The Dragon Prince Season 4, the Doctor Who special The Power of the Doctor, Transformers Earthspark and Wednesday... just because I want to!

There are a couple of sequences in various tie-ins which fold into the main narrative which I find genuinely moving. As the mysterious narrator says in the first issue, this is a story about heroism. Some people are heroes in surprising ways.

Okay — to give at least some answer to the question, I'll mention someone who ended up charming me, despite literally being a skyscraper-sized monster. Syne the Memotaur. I'd say "give her a spin-off mini," but if you're the size of a skyscraper, it'd have to be a maxi."
