I dunno, I'm disappointed they made him from Earth, and I really don't see a cat being a good choice for a "rage" based character, they're too mercurial.

Now a trained attack dog, or some sort of dog trained for cage fighting, THAT I could get behind, but not a house-cat that's just had a bad, bad, day.

Oh, and talk/thinking like that? We3 did it better.

I dunno, a dog trained for cage fighting is just doing what he's taught to do to survive. He doesn't know any other way of life. None of the other Red Lanterns seem to fit this sort of backstory. They've all seem to have gone under some personal tragedy and have someone in particular they feel is responsible and must pay. Could have worked with any sort of household pet, storywise. However if he were a dog it'd bring a much more frightening image to mind (rabid dog) and a far less endearing one than RageKitty, I think.

Like someone else said--most of the Red Lanterns got their rings from extremely tragic loss that created an extremely strong need for vengeance. Look at Atrocitus--who's ENTIRE SECTOR was completely stripped away from a massive fuck-up by the Guardians that they quickly covered up, and crucified him to his own dead planet.

It's an interesting concept, people sometimes forget animals actually have feelings.

And, in the other hand, it's really a sad history.

So many things don't quite work with this, particularly the name and the blue which indicate he's clearly meant to be an alien cat, but this is too much of a WE3 style mix (of the dog and the cat) that I can't help but get totally :C

As interesting as Dex-Starr is, he's not a patch on 2 from We3. Though he sounds a lot like 1, here, which is guaranteed to get me.

I never thought a comic about three animals could be so... heartrending.
