I love the 90s. I love comics. I do not love most thing from 90s comics.

Magog being 90s-Cable bred with a Big Horn Sheep (an angry one, I assume) I still weep that he made it out of Geoff John's JSA arc.

He is my One Moment In Time debacle.

BUT I'm glad that Maxwell Lord might end his face and that this is probably a sneaky ploy to control Magog on the game board so he can strike when the time is right.

Motto. He worked great in Kingdom Come because a) he was barely in it and b) he was there to serve a purpose as the spokeperson for the stupid, overly violent characters. =D

I'm waiting for the trump card: Jamie.

"Option 1: Strong Force Disruptor. Fatal."
"Err..."
"Option 2: Implicate Order Annhilation Field. Fatal. Potential theological implications."
"Nnnno."
"Option 3: Interactive Retroactive Continuity Matrix. Potentially fatal. Definite consequences for 90s anti-heroes."
"Hell yes!"

Magog is going to kill Captain Atom. You know I liked Kingdom Come too guys but this is getting ridiculous.

It like how the newest Resident Evil movie seems to be paying "homage" to the Matrix...

Actually I have hopes that when intersecting this with Maxwell's vision from the White Lantern it means that he's sending Magog on a purposefull suicide run; sure, the JLI crew won't kill him, but they might just lead him to a state where Max can just mind-control him into suicide like the image that was teased before.

Which I could appreciate. A lot.

You know, after the Kingdom Come Superman arc, I thought that they wouldn't go by the easiest route and they would make Magog an awesome and interesting character. The guy had actually caught my attention.

But I guess I was wrong. Kill the guy already.

The Booster comic that came out this week is desperately trying to keep pace with this, even referencing it (barely). They're going for some big arc here.
