I've not seen it discussed here, but Bendis' Avengers title has a Rip Hunter's Whiteboard moment
From the T&A comes this quotation from Tom Brevoort

And in fact, we've got something of a master plan mapped out for the next few years – and readers will get a taste of it in "Avengers" #5 next week. But as a service to our loyal T&A readers, here's the key excerpt. It's a chart that Old Tony from the future shows to his present-day self, warning him about what is to come. We've fat-packed it with hints and portents of future events, so it ought to provide plenty of fodder for fan speculation-at least that's the hope! And here it is.

Now, some bits are kind of straightforward.

Going from left to right, as far as possible,
Captain America Reborn (self explanatory)
Heroic Age Begins (self explanatory)
Hope Returns (the X-baby)
Nine worlds in disarray (?)
Three (Epting and Hickman's Fantastic Four)
Man without fear (Daredevil)
Throwbacks
Academy Traitor! (Avengers Academy)
Master of Kung Fu (The Immortal Iron Fist?)
What is where Asgard should be (isn't Loki addressing this point sometime soon?)
Five Lights (5 new mutants after Hope's return)
Nova Antiquus (something about Nova?)
Return of the king (Black Panther? Wilson Fisk?)
Night Falls (?)
Iron Lad Returns (?)
Where is Wanda (visual puzzle book for young children)
All Hope Lies in Doom (one of the phrases that future Valeria sent Future Franklin gave to give to present Valeria. I think that it's to do with the Hole full of Dooms that the Council of Reeds has)
Fear without Man (Don't know. Sounds fucking intense)
Galactus Seed (Ditto)
Schizm! (?)
Yesterday's X-Men
What's in the rings (?)
Steve's Vision (The Vision? Or Steve Rogers' Indian drug fuelled vision that inspired him to write his big book of the Marvel Universe?)
Ultron War (the next chapter in Cosmic Marvel?)

Interesting, ish.

"Nine worlds" would seem to suggest something Asgardian. Or Midgardian. Thor, all right? Something Thor-y.

comicoz: Really, 99 of them (Default)

Since it's listed on the chart as happening before Heroic Age, I'd guess it's part of the event that brought Asgard here. There was a comment in some Thor book (no idea if main title or one of the many one-offs) that talked about how the Nine Worlds were messed up and without Asgard there all sorts of bad things were happening.

currently in the Steve Rogers/Thor/Iron Man story, when Thor brought the city of Asgard to Oklahoma, most of the other realms are thrown off their time/space/dimensional position. Basically they are not where they are supposed to be in the "heavens" or on Ygdrasil the World Tree.

Which might also mean that since they've been dimensionally shifted, something else is taking their spot, as nature abhors a vacuum.

"Scorched Earths"?

"3*deathsymbol*ION"?

the Calyphs of Revenge?

From what it sounds like, Fraction's run on Thor is going to be about how Asgard's move into Midguard has, well, thrown things into disarray.
