Awesome New-Females Week

Alright, time to show you the Game Franchise based comic book that well empowers it's female cast....





Blaze is a realtive new character,  so she count right, especially since this the 3rd story arc she appears in the Archie comics, here a preview of Sonic Universe #22, coming out this week.

And now a couple of scans to show why Amy should have bigger roles in the games in the backup story in Sonic the Hedgehog #217... it starts with Cream Rabbit trying to round up Chao as Snively comes over with a giant drill machine, sense mystical powers from the Chao Garden by Cream's house.




Amy and Cream double team and... this happens...




Love that sound effect, "PIKO!" Why does Amy's mallet has it's own sound effect but not Thor's magic hammer? It can make him fly, fire beams of energy, and practally everything but make it's own personal sound effect! Anyway, Amy invites Cream, along with her mother and the Chao to come to New Mobotropolis to live. And now, the ending strip to the issue

Why does Amy's mallet has it's own sound effect but not Thor's magic hammer?

Because Thor's job isn't to look cute; he's there to deliver a battle. Amy, on the other hand, is entitled to be as toony and hijinky as possible. =)

And I now have to wonder what a team-up with Thor and Amy would do with the two hammer wielders. I could picture Thor teaming up with Sonic and Amy actually ass-whooping Loki.

Yeah, but it would be awesome that it had it's own sound-effect, I mean, Amy's mallets go Piko, Mother Boxs go Ping, so why can't Thor's hammer go "BA-DONK!" or someting?

STEVEN BUTLER! He's a great guy -- he lives locally and I met him when I was a kid. He looked at my (horrible, embarrassing looking back at them now) drawings and really encouraged me, so I always squee a bit when I see his name on stuff.

Also I love how the Sonic cast has gone from having Sally and Bunny to exploding with awesome ladies.

Been awhile since we've seen Hershey, now that I think of it. But I'm sure we'll see her a bit in this next StH arc (which I'm psyched for).

This, absolutely, and not even just game-based ones. We even have some kickass female villains now!

Though I'm still waiting for more Julie-Su stories. C'mon Sonic Universe, you can make it happen!

But Thor's hammer does have great soundeffects like BRINGDATHUNDAH! and IKEA!
