I remember reading an epic lemonfic about those two. It basically starts with Karen hiring Jen as a lawyer, they hit it off and next thing you know, the ground starts shaking as two women capable of bench-pressing entire city blocks get down to biznizzz.

I remember years ago Donna Barr did a strip in REAL GIRL having to do with women's self-defense tips, among other things. One thing I remember her debunking was kicking a guy in the groin. Partly because he could catch your foot between his legs--or with his hands--and throw you off balance easily. And also partly because some guys aren't as sensitive to a kick there as others. Instead, she advised something that ALWAYS works: kicking him in the knees, just below the kneecaps, and possibly in the head too when he doubles over. Because the point isn't to humiliate him. It's to disable him and get the hell away.

This is ridiculous. Not only is that the wrong costume, but Power Girl was never in the JLA. She was in the JLE. Also, she hardly knew Max. Seriously, I hereby defy anyone to post scans of Power Girl having a conversation with Max Lord from the Helfer-Giffen-DeMatteis Justice League series.
