The Kkore Invasion of the Uncharted Territories continues. As the rest of the galactic ruling powers have been brought down and decimated, the reformed Peacekeepers under Aeryn Sun's command meet the Kkore and Grennij forces.
They do not do so well.
60 seconds into the initial contact and the Peacekeeper fleet is torn apart. The command goes out to the assembled fleet.
Abandon ship, abandon ship.
The fleet escapes to the assembled Leviathan's. At a high price.

Nothing heroic, nothing grandiose. Just a simple self-less act of sacrifice to save her former crew mates. Good-bye, Sputnik. We barely knew you.
The Kkore and Scorpius savor their victory with the assembled kings, queens and leaders of the conquered worlds assembled in bondage before them. The message is simple - pledge you and your people to serve unto your undying days, or die. And they have the last person you want to keep as a prisoner.
Dominar Rygel the XVI.
(size matters not!)
Meanwhile, the remains of the Peacekeepers armada have regrouped after their escape.

Aeryn is beating herself up over having a major defeat as her first command of the Peacekeepers. And Critchon in his usual way gives her the comfort and pep talk she needs.

The most exhilarating and terrifying words in the Uncharted Territories.
"I have an idea..." by John Critchon.
Feeling the strength of will coming back to her, Aeryn issues a command to the remaining Peacekeeper fleet, pulling a good Joan of Arc. They may be down, but not out of the fight.
Just wish the art was worthy of the story.
