The Immortal Weapons! And War Machine. Weird team up but still pretty cool. Nick Spencer is the new Secret Avengers writer too, and Prince of Orphans was a member of that team last I checked, I wonder if this story will tie in there.

Thinking of that speech to Peter Parker about how McCarthyism was fine and dandy and his uncle sucked? That was a Space Phantom, not a Skrull.

I was actually thinking that I remember there being a panel in the Hercules Secret Invasion tie in where after they kill the Skrull God and all the Skrulls are panicking there's someone yelling that Reed Richards has escaped. I may have misunderstood the chain of events the panel is referring to, though.

Reed Richards was captured and put in a machine that pulled him like taffy during Secret Invasion, but without the Skrulls trying to leave an impostor in his place. He got rescued by Abigail Brand of SWORD, quickly figured out how to rig a scanner that would detect Skrulls even with their new shapeshifting chops, and saved the day in the main miniseries. It may have been that event they were referring to.

That's probably it. I get the order of events in Secret Invasion mixed up.
