So he's going to look like a ginger Sawyer from Lost in this arc, apparently. I'm hoping against hope that Bruce actually answers Jason's questions about death sincerely, and then they bond by reminiscing about the process of resurrection. :D

Why is Jason in Arkham Asylum? Is that just where all bad guys go in Gotham these days?

I guess that Jason and the Joker being incarcerated in the same place could have some interesting storytelling potential, at least.

Well, he was acting pretty strangely in the last arc. Borderline delusional, definitely.

I'm glad to see he's looking feeling better now though.

I still think he should have a shave and get a haircut, the damn hippy. Last time he got all stubbly it lasted for two issues until Talia slept with him, which finally prompted him to do something about his personal grooming.

Obviously she needs to have Words with him again.

This will probably annoy some people, but I do actually like the change of physical appearance because it differentiates from the various degrees of fail that have haunted Jason with previous attempts to stuff with him. This is a genuine fresh start, and it feels like one too.

I can imagine him checking his reflection in the glass and rearranging himself to get the pose juuuuust right before Bruce walks in.

Check out that smoulder on the last page of the preview too. No one should be looking at their adopted father that way, wtf.

Fuck the red hair.

It looks sexy, true. But I hate that "the bad one" in a family of black-haired good guys (Damian doesn't exactly act like a good guy, but it's heavily implied that deep down he is "his father's son") is a red-head. Talk about stereotypes.

The one thing I liked about that Starlin interview in Backissue #48 is when he bitched about how Morrison messes up everyone else's writing by dicking about with characters and changing stuff without asking.

Well, I guess, on the bright side, the part where Jason refused to reveal his real name, which would have endangered Bruce, could optimistically be taken as proof that Jason is still trying to protect his father (at the very least, Bruce himself saying that it's "a family matter" is encouraging, after Tomasi's "with the whole family!" recent line).
