In 1942, in the North Arctic, a clash between Germans and Americans wakes Frankenstein from his slumber.

However, after the war, the government decides Frankenstein and the other monsters are too dangerous free and puts them in cryo-suspension.
They're stashed in a secret facility in Metropolis, where they sleep for decades. In the present day, some sort of malfunction wakes them up.

Date: 2011-06-10 02:06 am (UTC)I'm so glad Jeff Lemire is carrying on Frankenstein with this book and the ongoing in September. Of all the cool characters Morrison created/revitalized in Seven Soldiers, I thought Frank had the biggest potential. Looks to be in good hands.
