Some part of me wants to be irreverent and demand a 7-11 convenience store to show up in this issue. The rest wants to know who the guy impersonating Edward Nigma is, along with wanting to know why his henchwoman is stealing Harley Quinn's hair style.

I suppose I shouldn't have expected Tony Daniel to completely follow The Long Halloween and forget that Gilda remarried and settled down with Harvey's biological children. That is, if "the Riddler" is to be believed. I put that in quotes because that in no way sounds like Eddie, but rather a bad Riddler cosplayer who wants to base it around the Lee Bermejo pimp Riddler from Azzarello's Joker by way of other Riddler elements.

I'm still waiting to see that this is all Harvey being played, like he's been played by others so often in the past. Usually the Joker. More than anything, I'm worried about what Daniel's going to do to Gilda as a character.

I meant "looks" not "sounds" like the Riddler, although it doesn't sound like Eddie either. Riddles are his compulsion, a manifestation of his drive to prove that he's smarter than everyone else, and he doesn't ask a single one. Feh.

It's been a while since I've read it, but I always remember it as saying that after Long Halloween she went off the grid. That was more or less said in Dark Victory.

Yeah, but that doesn't contradict any of the stories that came AFTER, such as Two-Face Strikes Twice, which is the one I'm referencing. Besides, if one really wants to follow the Loeb and Sale continuity, they unofficially showed Gilda alive and quite sane, although incognito, in Daredevil: Yellow:

Ugh hit Eddie over the head again. Inept PI is so much more interesting. Not that we need another baddie in Gotham anyway. I mean okay, both Selina and Harley Quinn have tetter tottered on being actual good guys (if you count..Countdown for Harley)...Man bat...okay there a shit ton of heroes in Gotham...but you don't need the Riddler anymore, he seems way too hard to write as a villain these days imo.


Plus Riddler's Daughter/Enigma needs to get punched out BAD by Duela Dent again . Post reboot that's what needs to happen cause Duela should be revived. But then again post reboot we get the Riddler with the horrible late 80's/early 90's question mark mohawk...which gives me more reason for Duela to just come and sock Eddie too.
