Love the FF cover. I like it when they go cartoony. Doesn't seem to really go with the story, but whatever. Neat!

It's Leech, being comforted by Cyclops. It's one of my favourite moments, Leech has lost his family, and Cyclops, whose powers are being neutralised by Leech, picks him up, and pulls his visor back, so that he can tell the little boy straight in the eye as he tells him things will get better.

It's Cyclops. The kid he's holding is Leech, which is why he has his visor down. It's a little reminder of a time I didn't totally hate Cyclops. I was originally going to use the icon until Cyclops became likable again, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen anytime soon.

Please, it wouldn't be superhero comics if Rogue didn't tapdance around a relationship with Gambit. I expect her to actually manage to settle down with someone in another 20 years, given they dragged her power stuff out for as long as possible.

Meh, I think the biggest tragedy with the new X-Force is that it's getting lost in the mix while the 'more important' books tread water dicking around with standard 'humans hate mutants' stories that look to make Cyclops even more of a dick.

gambit is not the part of the love triangle that alarms and grosses me out.

Point taken. I do wonder why Carey insists on dragging it along, but to be fair, it was a gross and crazy concept when it first popped up years ago, so he's not entirely to blame. Although why Rogue would willingly even consider Magneto when you can bet no-one can make head or tail of that Xorn stuff in the MU is beyond me.

"Reborn" seems like a fair reason for deaging. Interesting how many child villain-ish characters Marvel has been using in the past year - Loki, kid-Apocalypse in X-force, the new Hellfire Club, and now the Magus. Guess these things are like buses.

Hmm.. a double dose of Hickman Fantastic Four, plus Van Meter and Aguirre-Sacasa doing solo books on two of my favourite Avengers?
Looks like Christmas comes early this year.

Lady Mandarin!?!? They brought Lady Mandarin back? Well that would make sense. Angel and Betsy had/have a relationship and there's always been the lingering question of what it would take to push Betsy back to the baddies since she's got that dark edge for killing. Though I wish Jim Lee was drawing her again. I preferred her functional armor to this scantily clad crap.
