So I mentioned this, and then I never posted it; so there it is! The fall out from the Laurie and Hope tension during Schism (err, not that sort of tension, sorry), in Generation Hope #12.

Date: 2011-11-10 03:58 am (UTC)Seriously people, get a psychic defense and deploy it. Constant low level mind-control is how heroes like Max Lord decay into supervillains. Just incorporate defense headsets into your costumes, and put this behind you. Forge made anti-psychic gear twenty years ago, and every X-team has access to Cerebro-tech.
This reminds me of someone who made a cut of the Star Wars prequels with every 'love scene' between Anakin and Padme undercut with the Imperial March, making the whole relationship a Force Mindcontrol thing, which makes them ten times more interesting.
