So Daken pretty much agreed with everything except the "insane" part. Wow, at least he has a realistic understanding of his own psyche. He is knows he's a hedonistic, narcissistic, nihilist.

So Daken's still going-on but they canceled X-23? REALLY???

Well they announced a bunch of other canceled titles today, give it time.

Besides X-23 can be added to the casts of Avengers Academy, Wolverine and the X-men, Generation Hope, FF, or X-Force easily and possibly increase sales in those titles. It's a bit harder to find another book to add Daken to where he can continue being a bastard, what with there no longer being a Dark Avengers book.

Easy to hate that in villains, especially when they go for the whole world-city-something-whatever domination angle, but this guy...
He takes over the world by being a big Hollywood movie star. And nothing else, really. The killings and other shit he pulled with the LA mob, the murders, the drugs... was just to pull on Daken's metaphorical pigtails.
Therefore, he entertains me.
