The first issue was narrated by Andrew Bennett, the second by Mary, Queen of Blood; the hero and villain of the series, respectively. With the third issue, the point of view switches again, this time to John Troughton, vampire hunter and Andrew's best friend.

Mr. Troughton, would-be (somewhat bumbling) vampire killer, was saved from being a meal by the arrival of Andrew Bennett, who makes quick work of his fellow monsters.

So that's the reveal the issue ends on, that Andrew could easily stop Mary and her vampire army by killing himself. The question is, does he know that?
