Intriguing. Is it just me or is Starling slowly becoming the brains of the BOP far more than Dinah or Barbara?

Any chance that they're related to the Court of Owls that Batman's chasing over at Snyder's book? They did say that a lot of books would have little cross-overs with it, including Birds of Prey...

Quite possibly. To be honest I haven't even been reading Batman, so I don't even know what's going on there that might tie in with Birds.

Dude. You gotta read Batman. Definitely one of the best books coming out of DC right now.

But basically, the Court of Owls are Gotham lore, saying that they're the true masters and symbol of Gotham, running things for near centuries. Batman knows as fact that they don't exist, because he investigated them in the past. But when their assassin, Talon, tries to kill him as Bruce Wayne, he starts to find out they are, in fact real.

Huh, intriguing. Especially since I seem to recall Talon being the evil Earth-3 version of Robin, with that world's Batman being Owlman. I may have to check it out then.

I believe Snyder's said it's got nothing to do with Owlman (people thought the assassin was Owlman until the name came out), but it's still a great story. Snyder's got the character down, and Capullo is KILLING IT on the art.

Presumably just a case of a name being used more than once. Though I would love to see the E-3 Talon return.

i love ev, her personality is awesome.apologizing genuinely for having to punch someone in the face.

also i do believe there will be a cross over. they said Batman, BoP, Batgirl and RHATO will be crossing over (presumably because of the court of owls.)

and yeah they are right Snyder is kicking all kinds of ass in batman.

i am so sad, no comics for a month for me!

That sucks that you won't be getting any of your books for a month. Then again holiday season, lots of festivities to be had.

I didn't know there was going to be a crossover with Batman, Birds of Prey, Batgirl, and Red Hood as I haven't really been in this loop. I've been mostly paying attention to any Earth-2 and JSA news. I'll definitely be checking out Batman though.

have you read Snyder's detective comics? brilliant, absolutely brilliant and his Swamp thing is beautiful!

and yeah i get my comics at the train station near my school and i am on winter break till mid Jan :((((( but they will be holding my comics for me :D

I've been reluctant to read Detective Comics with the whole faceless Joker thing they have going on, which I'm really squeamish about. It's also the reason I settled for a PhD rather than an MD for my post-grad studies. XP

It's amazing. Snyder and Bryan Q Miller had the two best books before the new 52, opposite ends of the spectrum but excellent none the less

You haven't read bqm's batgirl? Yeah I own snyder's issues and I am still buying the trade (it's called The Black Mirror) same with barthel. Own the issues bought all but the last trade

I have not, no. The only titles I've read out of the post-Crisis continuity were Harley Quinn's solo series, both Catwoman series, Birds of Prey, Gotham City Sirens, whatever minis Huntress appeared in, including her 1989 solo series, and, and....that's it. From Batman I only read major story arcs such as Knightfall, No Man's Land, Hush, and Heart of Hush. :P

Are we talking pre-FP Batwoman? Cause I've only started reading Batwoman post-FP. >.o

Well I mean greg rucka's batwoman, it's essentially the same, that much hadn't changed. This current series is a continuation

Greg Rucka is--in my opinion--one of the best writers DC has on board, so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if his Batwoman run is just as equally good. :)

Also, I can't believe I completely forgot to mention this title, but Power Girl was another one I read. Damn. If I'm already forgetting that Peege exists this can't be a good thing, especially since this is a dark time for a Power Girl fan like myself. -sniffle- :'(
