Pretty much. I understand what he was trying to do and I am still mad at him for the stupidity of it all at the same time.

if he was going to do something like that, he should have stuck with him longer, to make sure he knew he could handle it. you know, a mentor? its not like a few years is gonna be much to him.

also just killing him was harsh... did he kill anyone? (i'm a month and a half behind on my pulls, my shoppe held on to them for me over winter break:) but that means i haven't gotten to most of these books yet :( )

Agreed, the showing him how to do it, then more or less abandoning him before he's spent any time dealing with it is some seriously bad mentoring.

He did, in fact, kill. It's not entirely clear how many (I hate the art on this book, so much...), but there's at least one person dead when John shows up. Possibly two, but the woman may have just passed out....too much blood on the guy for that to be an option for him.

Dude kind of reminds me of the Wendigo from BPRD, or that one werewolf guy from Being Human that was played by that actor who played the boat captain in the Guy Richie Sherlock Holmes movies (as well as a bit part in the Wolfman).

I, Vampire is definitely my favorite comic from the New 52 and I generally hate most vampire stuff. I do wonder what J.M. thinks of this reboot.

Should have let him stay a little while longer to say goodbye, at least, but killing him was probably a show of how disappointed he was in himself for the mistake. Self-loathing probably made him brutal.

AAAHHHHH JOHN! <3 My love for him doesn't dissipate, but I worry sometimes with his roles in DC now.
