So today UGO posted a preview for next week's Red Hood & The Outlaws #6, which looks to be a completely flashback issue about the first meeting between Jason and Starfire.

Two things I noticed: One is that Lobdell isn't doing the full scripts for this issue, but rather Josh Williamson of the "Supergirl/Damian" S/B issue fame and current writer of Voodoo.

Second will be put under a cut.

That's right! Whlie Dick's Robin costume seemed to have had some tweaks, it looks like his initial Discowing costume is still around!

Thank you! I didn't really notice much of a difference either but I've been liking it so I approve of this change.

There were so strong parts in the series (Issue #3 is my favorite), but a lot of my issues with the series is that at times it feels like there isn't sufficient build up and it seems I don't know rushed and disjointed with scenes. Plus I kinda rolled my eyes at the convenient weapon that runs on blood. And this is really nitpicky since we don't know any ages of the Robins in the reboot, but if Jason is about 19-20: why is he in a bar drinking beer in the United States where the legal drinking age is 21?

I do agree with the writing getting better since #2. I'm okay with the plot, but I just feel the execution could have been a lot better and I think Lobdell is overextending himself with doing three books.

Yea. Jason was always interesting to me because of reasons, but I do agree Jason was in a rut because his big stunt didn't go as plan. I like the direction they have taken him (I always liked him as an anti-hero as it explores the flaws of both Jason's and Bruce's philosophies on crime) and having to interact with his connections outside of the Bat Family and within (I'm starting to have a desire for a Helena, Jason, and Damian team up).

I was thinking about maybe he has a fake-ID (Jason would have to have a fake-ID anyway), but I guess it just doesn't sit right for me.

I still can't wait until Wednesday to pick it up.

Yeah, I'm sure the (now semi-)murderous vigilante with illegal weapons and a fake identity and who just broke his buddy out of jail would never dare to break a minor dumb law.

It still bothers me. I can't really explain it, but it does. Even with all lawbreaker, illegal weapons and such, it still bothers me.
