But perhaps when they return to normal, they'll find that (for some reason they can't guess) they have more empathy for the other gender's outlook and experiences? As if they can imagine what it would be like to be a girl or a boy, without knowing the reason for their new insight? Who's to say if we ourselves, when we experience empathy for one unlike us, aren't unconsciously remembering our travails during a magic spell cast by a talking cat? Can you prove that didn't happen?
