From Wonder Woman 600, Diana goes to Power Girl's house to see why her cat is being so grumpy lately.

Oh yeah, in addition to Joss Whedon' upcoming SHIELD show and BBC International's Night Watch show (based on the Discworld series behind the scenes of the individual novels), it seems that they're going to have another go at making a Wonder Woman show, this time under the title Amazon, with former WW writer Allan Heinberg in charge,

Apparently they are going to go the Arrow and Smallville route and have the take be a young and inexperienced Diana starting to make her way in the world as a woman and immigrant to Man's World, pre-costume and all. How well this goes depends on how they keep the executive to a minimum this time, as the attempts to make Diana a stereotypically Strong Independant Woman in the previous pilot... created a Wonder Woman who was a billionaire CEO who openly murdered and tortured people, being both terrifying and profoundly Non-Wonder Womany.

Didn't he write Wonder Woman as a secret agent who couldn't lead a fruitful super hero life unless she had a secret identity? And did he have Batman take on Cheetah, a creature of super strength that Wonder Woman herself has issues dealing with at times?

Oh, what the heck am I saying? As long as she isn't a basta** child of Zeus, has more compassion than the new 52 counterpart and has a mother who can't stop talking about her cravings for godly sex, it should be fine.

You don't think New 52 Wondy has compassion? I think they've shown her with a pretty enormous heart.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

The entire first story arc was about her putting everything on the line to protect an innocent baby, she uses Eros guns on Hades so that he can love himself, etc.

I guess maybe if you've only seen her in Justice League, you might miss all that.

No, I just remember the stories of Wonder Woman where she wasn't brought up from both a lies and tragedy, and her mother was and continued to be a big influential part of her life. It was refreshing to see a super hero who still had a living parent that they could always depend upon. I also remember that in the comics, she had female allies, friends and family that weren't there solely to be the damsel who's baby needed protecting.

Also, that Wonder Woman didn't portray the amazons as man-hating nymphs who can't even forge their own weapons. And she didn't use the guns on Hades to make him love himself. She had already accomplished that by simply talking to him.
