Also, is it just me, or does the damn thing get progressively bigger in every panel?

"Luckily," Richard Kendall ducks under the poisoned dart so that it kills some completely innocent Chinese dude standing behind him instead! What a stroke of good fortune!

Why doesn't Chen Chang just mop up the "medicine" with a paper towel or something and make Kendall eat it anyway? Would it be rude to make him a maniac and force him to consume broken glass and floor dirt?

I'm headcanoning that the hapless minion who was given the medicine said "No mas" first, because he's from Venezuela.

So Chenchang was willing to throw away the priceless result of months of research just to see Kendal raving? And then he unties him to… bring his face to the spider (instead of the other way around)? Just shoot him already!!
