Not quite seeing that, as Reed is emotionally restrained to the point of inhibited, and DT is usually a desperately emotive actor.

Well Reed is literally dying in this scene, and he knows there's no cure in all the known universes, so his only choice is to face the unknown. But, yes, they should at least pay attention to what the boy says.

I know. And the thing that bugs me most is that Sue has literally NO GOOD REASON not to bring it up. It's not even like Franklin's present and she doesn't want to embarrass him by bringing up his nightmares, it's just the Four there. Was she so reluctant to take the wind out of her husband's sails? Because let me tell you, Reed has good reason to believe that all Four of them essentially have a terminal illness and he's chosen to go it all instead of using the considerable resources that could help with with, not to mention not even telling the others. Reed's like the platonic ideal of dickishness here, he deserves to have the wind taken out of his sails.

Why's Johnny only got the arm thing when he's on a date? Should he wear it with his costume as well?
And it seems awful dickish of Rees to just up a repurpose Johnny's flagship like that, I mean, dude is the monarch of a dimension full of monster, there's a CHANCE he could need it at some point.
And is anyone else bothered by the plot holes? Because I sure am.

Not any more. In an issue of FF, the Future Foundation set up an election in the Negative Zone, and Annihilus won by a landslide.

Ah, didn't know that. In that case, isn't it an even worse decision to get change it? Annihilus is kind of outright evil, seems like having a space battleship on hand would be a good precaution to take.

Johnny appears to have had one of his frequent, probably editorially required IQ drops, since he assumes that someone named Jacques is Italian.

I assume he's wearing the arm thingie because he's in the Negative Zone and it's a status thing.. or somesuch.

He's wearing the arm thing on the date because the date takes place in the negative zone and the rod on his arm lets him control it.

I was pretty pleased with it, esp the 'Get the kids, we're going camping in The Universe and All Of Space And Time'.

I haven't gotten caught up on the last few issues of (former volume) FF: where's Chris Power? I see all the other kids, there.

I dislike that Reed is talking about using the ship as a classroom, but only bringing Franklin and Valeria.

Aside from that, yay Bentley. There is something genuinely heartwarming about Sue tucking him in, and something at least mildly heartwarming about him and Dragon Man sharing a room. (They should go to support group meetings with the Awesome Android and other creations of evil geniuses.)

I'm not gonna lie: this may be the first comic in months that I actually would really like to pick up (that isn't Atomic Robo, at least). This looks like the FF that I remember and want to read more of.
