Are you referring to the book itself or the company? I agree with the book's tenuous standing within the New 52, but I think the issue is that the company has been established as being the status quo on other books, including Snyder's Batman.

The book, particularly their treatment of Jason Todd, which seems at odds with the New 52.

Lobdell has said that the post-DOTF issue of Red Hood will mostly be a Jason/Bruce talk-down, and it will lead into his appearance in Batman Incorporated.

Incorporated's been mentioned in DC's FCBD, in Tomasi's first Batman & Robin New 52 issue, and in Snyder's Batman, so I'm going with "yes." I think there's one of two things going on:

1. John thinks Bruce is the public money guy, but there might be something deeper going on.
2. Minor continuity hiccup.

Anyone know anything else he's actually been called? People seem to settle on 'Stranger' or 'Phantom Stranger' pretty fast when they meet him.

According to Didio's new series he's been confirmed to be Judas Iscariot or something.

Not quite, in the Classic DCU he MIGHT have been the Wandering Jew, or he might have been a time traveller from the future/past, or he might have been an angel who wouldn't commit to either God or Satan at the time of the Fall, or he might have be... well, you can see where I'm going with this. :)

My personal favorite was the one where he argued morality with the angel and won. (I'd call it a win, anyway. "I WANT TO DO GOOD! THERE'S NO POINT IN BEING IN HEAVEN IF NOBODY CAN COME ALONG WITH ME!" "Fine, you'll live helping people forever!" "Ha ha! Sucker!" Although it does kinda suck that he can't remember his previous life and no one can remember him. Still.)

I know I've seen him referred to as "The Grey Pilgrim" before. Of course, that was before the reboot that gave him a definite origin and identity.

Here's a thing: in the Shazam bit, they mention "The Apache" as another Wizard. I wonder if this will be a new take on the Apache Chief from the Super-Friends?

This seems better than Didio's run on Phantom Stranger. He's actually one of my favorites and Didio gave him the shaft. I stopped after the first issue.

From what I've seen of it, it seems like Didio has some interesting ideas, like having Stranger attempt to live a normal life with a wife and kids. The thing is that while it's not as bad as his Outsiders, it is kinda dull. It tells me that while I'm sure Didio did a lot to make OMAC shine, a lot of the spark came from Giffen.

Huh. Who's the woman in the last panel? Is that the 'Pandora' character that was supposed to be so important just before the new 52 started? Or did that already get resolved? I honestly don't recall hearing anything about it.
