Dial H is a consistently entertaining and suitably weird title. The beings that are summoned up remind me of Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol, some of his most inspired silliness.
I dropped it a couple of issues back. The Doom Patrolesque weirdness and silliness kept it going, but it lacks an engaging narrative drive, so the novelty wore off for me. I might read the trades sometime down the line.
it's a play on "Sellin' woof tickets" - engaging in threatening or intimidating verbal aggression, usually without the intent of actually doing physical harm.
