Well not the best, but the best that's related to the Ultron crossover, or to any Runaways in recent history. Anything that gives a chance for the Runaways to come back is good (and even better if it's without killing them).

The Next Avengers showed up in the first story arc of the Avengers v4 comic that kicked off after the end of Siege and was part of the Heroic Age.

Yeah, not really looking forward to this event, but glad it's at least in it's own series, and is only slated to crossover with the regular titles of one issue each. No intention of reading the main series though, nothing about it interests me.
This Victor Mancha book could be interesting, i wonder if it'll play at all into his origin destiny of joining and then betraying the Avengers. I might pick this one up if reviews are positive.

I was never a big event person, but AvX just totally killed it for me. A Phoenix-based event comic starring the Scarlet Witch seemed tailor made to fit my interests and instead it just crushed my desire to ever buy anything Marvel ever again. Honestly, I actively stopped buying books I liked because they were tainted by AvX's awfulness. It took the combination of Fearless Defenders, Young Avengers, and the new all female X-Men to make me want to buy Marvel again.

With Chase and Nico in Avengers Arena (where at least one of them will probably die) and Victor in a solo book it's pretty safe to say that the Runaways aren't together at the moment.

Yeah that's pretty much my thoughts.

I think Chase is going to die, and they're going to bring back Gert via time travel (which was hinted at in the Avengers Academy/Runaways crossover) like two seconds afterwards.

I think you are too optimistic in thinking only Chase is going to die in Avengers Arena, and yet too pessimistic in thinking either death will actually last.
Anyway Gert seemed to come back in the last Runaways issue (v3 #14). The only way they can actually bring her back now (or show that she came back) is to relaunch Runaways, and unfortunately I don't see that happening.

P.S. if I'm correct April should have been the perfect month to relaunch Runaways because it's their 10 year anniversary.
