Man, can you imagine Lobdell doing a Doctor Who story? This whole storyline just screams "wibbley-wobbley timey-wimey" and so on.

Also, cool to see Faeora in the comics.

Y'know, I really like Supergirl's over-shoulder cape fastening thing.

Yeah, I've always liked that. The cape looks recognizably Superfamily-ish, but is also kind of a new, distinctive look. (Which is probably what DC was going for across the board with the New 52 costume updates, but did not really achieve.) Unfortunately, I find nearly everything else about her costume kind of stupid looking, so I'm not sure it's an overall win.

The shoulder cape is pretty sweet, but it doesn't make up for the crotch shield.

Boy howdy do I continue to not give a single shit about Krypton. Krypton should be part of a rich tapestry, and while it certainly plays a large role, it should not be the center of the Superman mythos.

Especially since Superman's upbringing on Earth is what really made him a hero. By all accounts, Krypton in the days leading up to its demise was not a very nice place.
