OK, so the Titans are bouncing randomly around the time stream as a result of Forever Evil. Most of #24 is snippets of those bounces;
superfangirl1 posted 3 pages of Bart's bounce-forward here. I've got about an eighth of one pages and 7/8 of the next to, like the Dude's rug, really tie the whole thing together.
Cassie finds Raven being tormented by Etrigan, who wants to kill her in lieu of killing Trigon (really wish there was room to post that, coz Etrigan is always cool). She bumps Etrigan out of the way and explains the sitch to Raven, and that Red Robin has a plan.
Since Raven grew up in a "limbo" outside time, she's got the best shot at manipulating the time stream back into one piece. But until they figure out how to do that, the need her to "mark" each Titan as her own so she can always find them no matter when or where they bounce.

Mods, a quick question w/r/t those pages I said above I wished I could post: Teen Titans Annual #2 comes out next week. With that release will this one no longer be considered "current" & subject to the 4-page limit? (the things that occur to you once the caffeine hits the bloodstream...)

Basically Linkara reviewed The Crossing and gave the Harvest, the villain for that arc liken that villain to a Yugi Abridged villain and began doing it in the same Elmer Fudd voice. It actually made the story more entertaining.

It boggles the mind unless they're both actually working together to double cross Trigon but still...

Date: 2013-11-05 03:56 pm (UTC)Funny enough I was thinking of how now DC's been really pushing at the villain role here for her (if not a double cross against her father) when pre-reboot they seemed to... I don't know, whitewash her NTT history in terms of just how dangerous she was or even morally questionable she could be, even with the noblest of intentions (Wally's case especially). I figured they were trying to have a somewhat clean slate for her since she had a mob of new fans from the cartoon at the time (also reinforced by how she became more like her cartoon self in personality) and plus some of it was from the darkest of the nineties era that Wolfman regretted.

Date: 2013-11-04 04:06 am (UTC)I'm curious about this too. Particularly when it comes to something like the Fables/Jack of Fables crossover, where they were specifically billed as one storyline, so that part 1 happened in Fables, part 2 in Jack, part 3 in Fables, etc. Each issue was even written by the same writing team, and they even mixed-and-matched artists, so that some of Jack of Fables during the crossover was drawn by the regular Fables artist and vise versa. Basically, when the only thing keeping it from being one series is the title on the cover.
