I don't know how to describe this comic other than that it leaves me smiling every single page. It's about teenagers investigating mysteries. It's adventurous and happy and essentially pure fun in visual form. I don't know how he does it.
Mild spoilers below cut, but nothing big really.
Here's outgoing gal Charlotte, just converted to the delights of drama club, auditioning for Glengarry Glen Ross (reference):
(Naturally she closes the role.)
And here's our heroes, just returned from heroic time-traveling adventures, listening to the definitive rock band, The Beetles:

This was a brilliant gag to add at the end of the adventure. I mean it doesn't make sense that the time travel would make that kind of change, but the Bobbins/Scary Go Round/Bad Machinery universe has always been a bit strange (see the Easter Bell of France), so it's entirely possible it's 'always' been that way.
But yes, Bad Machinery is one of the best things.
Also I love that rule 63 Ringo Starr's name is...Ringo Starr.
But mostly I'm happy the mystery boys are back to their dorky selves. And that Grumpaw Calvin got a happy ending.
