Fanart Thursday - Right on time!

It's been a while since my Fanart posts included commissions of my own, and I got a couple in, which celebrate my particular favourites!

So most of you will have some idea what to expect going in...


This first is by Leigh Wortley, also known as stem-cell on tumblr, who did this delightful Dick/Kurt piece as my Christmas card for the comm in 2012. Given that she has a penchant for the New Mutants Team Supreme as great as my own, it seemed only natural to commission her for this, and I love the outcome. Warlock has rarely looked cuter.

My suggestion was that Doug was out for a walk and Warlock, concerned for his wellbeing, makes sure he wraps up warmly in his own unique style.



As Leigh put it...

And this one is just in from Astro, aka nogutsnoglory, whose work has been seen on scans_daily before, and whose gallery I can most definitely endorse.

Looks like Dick’s been taken hostage again, unmasked, and this time frisking him for hidden gadgets went a little far.



If you want a less worrying scenario, Dick was demonstrating his escapology skills to the other Titans, and invited Wally to check that he wasn’t carrying any hidden gadgets, and Wally couldn’t resist going a little further than Dick might have planned (and who can blame him?)

Everyone needs more Doug/Warlock in their life, and I'm hoping the new X-Factor supplies it.
