I don't know about you, but it's be a long, tedious and somewhat knackering Monday and I need some s_d appropriate art..., and I always believe in sharing.

A couple of new commissions from Matthew Synowicz, an artist new to me, but one I took a chance on, and am very glad I did.

I asked for a Robin escaping from his bonds and ready to kick arse...



This is, I'm sure, a sight seen by many a villain as they realise that CATCHING a Robin isn’t the same thing as KEEPING a Robin caught. (The next sight they see is ususally someone checking them out for concussion as they wake in a police cell.)

I do like that redsign of the costume, it updates it, but still leaves it impractical enough to be classed as a costume.

And here we have Cypher and Warlock going all Metroid...



Love the expressions.... I can imagine Sunspot asking, smugly, if Doug has realised that the character in Metroid is a woman and does that mean he fights like a girl, and Doug pointing out that he's on the same team as Dani, Rahne, Ilyanna and Amara, and they share the school with Kitty, Betsy, Rogue and Ororo, and if Berto thinks that "fights like a girl" is an insult, he should really reassess his values.

A Vic Stone and Donna Troy piece which Phil Jimenez posted on Facebook, which he mentions as being part of a Titans pitch he did at some point pre-New 52. Not a pairing I'd have thought of, but I'd have liked to see where it went.
