In which She-Hulk hires a fellow Avenger for her new law practice...
"I've been practicing law for quite a while now - and I think that it would be silly of me not to bring that experience to writing a character with a law degree. The way it plays out is pretty fun, I think. I get to sort of write the Marvel Universe version of my own life." -- Charles Soule

To get her mind off her worrying lack of clients, Jennifer goes for a night on the town with Hellcat.

Date: 2014-04-04 06:14 pm (UTC)Becuase of the number of times the Baxter Building and Four Freedoms Plaza has been shot into space, sent into alternated dimensions and who knows what else, Reed naturally started planning for these contingencies. So, Four Freedoms Plaza has it's own independent gravity field; which is set at a constant, comfortable 1 G.
Nobody notices the difference within the building, but the laws of physics do! Basically, the gravity generator is causing a larger than normal bending of spacetime within the confines of the building, as a result time in fact flows at a different rate. They have lost a few minutes each day, but the cumulative effect over the years is staggering. Thus Franklin remains a kid while everyone else of his generation is already a teenager.

Date: 2014-04-04 06:19 pm (UTC)2. Oh Hellcat, you really don't have much in the way of powers. Able to sense mysticism and some vague vulnerability to it. You just don't have much use to most of the MU.

Date: 2014-04-05 02:38 am (UTC)On the other hand: Dude, you're AIM. You're the jobbers that gets beat up and their lunch money stolen by other jobbers. HYDRA and the Hand are LAUGHING at you. There could be 200 of you guys there and you probably couldn't do more than make She Hulk and Hellcat laugh themselves to death. The two of you? She Hulk is not sweating you.
I mean, you want to get a promotion? You got a better chance doing that in the lab trying to make Cosmic Cube 2.0 or something like that. The only thing fighting She Hulk is gonna get you is a broken jaw.

Date: 2014-04-05 02:37 pm (UTC)It's colorful, it uses constrast in a sharp and clear way and it avoids unecessary use of shine and reflections that make everything look like plastic. Its outlines are creatively defined and it works ona fine line between caricature and relaity. It's drawing in the way that comics need drawing, a way to tell a story in a unique and characteristic way.
It's also not GenericDrawingStyle#57 as DC is pushing through otherwise talented people such as Gary Frank, Ivan Reis, etc... which is making it just seem like output out of a assembly line.
